Bold, malty, and rich, this English Breakfast tea is made with the widest variety of tea leaves ever grown in England, then blended with the finest Assam to create a truly English Breakfast Tea.
Tregothnan is an expert Camellia grower. In fact, Tregothnan pioneered Camellia into Great Britain over two centuries ago. Camellia has thrived to such an extraordinary extent that the original introductions are now growing into their third century and still look youthful! Tregothnan is now the home of two of the RHS National Collections of Camellia – the Camellia reticulata and Camellia sasanqua.Up to 38 different varieties of Cornish Tea leaves grown in Tregothnan’s pioneering British tea gardens, are used to create this blend. Their English tea leaves are then blended with Assam to create a delicious malty flavour.
Each box contains 25 individually foil-wrapped tea bags, sealed for freshness.
Black Tea
Use filtered or bottled water just off the boil. Brew for 2 to 4 minutes depending on how strong you like your tea – we recommend 3 minutes of steeping time before tasting. English Breakfast Tea can be served with or without milk and sweetened with honey or sugar to taste.
