We are very fortunate here in Cornwall that we are blessed with mild temperatures all year round and because of this we sometimes benefit from an extra few weeks of ripening. This alongside one of the best summers we’ve experienced has meant that Polgoon are releasing a Nouveau style red wine.
Polgoon’s winemaking techniques of a cold fermentation has produced a fresh, fruity, red to drink red wine.

The Rondo is always one of Polgoon’s high yielding varieties and produces a very fruit driven wine and the Pinot Noir adds delicateness producing a perfectly easy drinking red.
John the winemaker at Polgoon says they pride ourselves on our variety of still wines are luckily enough to be able to produce down here in Cornwall. Almost 70% of the wine produced in the UK is sparkling wines, we are fortunate that the climate in our part of the country allows Polgoon to also make some outstanding still wines.
